WinRho

My son was first diagnosed with ITP in 2016 with platelets in 4 ; he was 17 years old.He was in the hospital for 2 weeks and received IVIG and winRho.

I have found a way on oncreasing platelets (Anti D immunogloblin WinRho) but am thinking of how to keep them up for longer withpout needing to return to IV antiD quite so often (every 8 weeks). Any experiences would be interesting. Thanks

I have been given several medications first it was prednisone which i was not to fond of it then I was given rituxan,WinRho, decadron and IVIG the only medication that has helped Is the IVIG. My platelets go sky rocket high with this medication. I did have my spleen removed in the summer of 2007.

I was admited to the hospital that day, i started taking IVIG for two days four dosese a day but still my platelet were the same and still taking the prednesone , than he recomended to take artificial platelets for two days but still my body was distroing all, than he decided that i should take WinRho

High pulse dexamethasone is losing its efficacy so my next emergency treatment is anti d immunoglobin. Has anyone tried it, what are the side effects and has it worked for anyone? Tbh I'm so fed up with ITP even if it lasted a few weeks I would be over the moon. Steroids have really messed me up and
