Nightmare side effects!
Been on
ventolin
and Becotide the majority of my life. At the age of about 14 I was also started on Serevent, however my asthma was still poorly controlled so I was started on Montelukast at the age of about 15.

Newbie with rapid onset of lung-related symptoms (Asthma, COPD, virus?)
I wanted to see if anyone has any ideas on some symptoms I have been experiencing over the past 2 weeks - my doctor has diagnosed me with asthma and given me a peak flow meter and
ventolin
and sent me away to do 2 weeks worth of readings to gauge how bad the condition is.

help! Bronchitis treated with anti biotics and prednisolone steroids
Taking my
ventolin
quite a bit to ease breathlessness. I am only 35. The cough is easing, but chest still feels clamped. Ive been taking bed rest for 3 days. And have been ill for near on two weeks with this. Is this normal? Please do share with me your experiences. I'm scared.

Contradictory ? Lung Function Results.
(
Ventolin
showed no amount of improvement in the post LFT so that would rule it out) In the past few weeks I have had palpitations and a visit to the cardiologist.

Got through without help.
Sorted with increase in
ventolin
and seritide I have suggested my flare up connected to my hormonal cycle. I was laughed at!

Feel rather ill
My temperature is normal but I am relying on the
ventolin
to manage the breathlessness to be able to get my normal day to day tasks done. I have an awful productive cough too.

What was in the nebuliser?
As per my instructions, I used the
Ventolin
inhaler. That did nothing to help my breathing and sent me into a spiral of anxiety. My breathing became frantic. Chest heaving - gasping for breath.

NHS medication recommendations, and minerals
I have
Ventolin
for whenever needed and I'm supposed to use a Salmeterol powder inhalter twice a day for maintenance. Well, the
Ventolin
works and has no side effects.

Regular Mucus of a Morning
I take: 2 Puffs of Seretide 125ml Twice a day (Volumatic)
Ventolin
(if needed) Throughout this time I have been on steroids that obviously help if I'm feeling particularly bad, and I went through a phase of taking one montelukast every night that helped my peak flow increase over time and it did help

argh, side effects
This morning my lung volume was somewhat reduced again :( I have
Ventolin
, which only kind of works when using a nebuliser Salmeterol Montelukas At least the first two, especially Salmeterol make me feel shaky, somewhat spaced out, dry mouth, bitter taste, and I cannot eat anything.

Newbie!
I've Just picked up my new Spiriva inhaler and
Ventolin
to go with the Symbicort I already take for asthma and after reading posts on this wonderful site I'm on a diet to try and lose a few pounds and I'm plucking up the courage to join the gym next week as I need to get (and hopefully stay) active!

Hello again
The nurse gave me a
ventolin
inhaler, but I'm not sure what happens next. When my mum was diagnosed, she was already at the very severe stage, so I can't really compare her treatment to what I should expect. What do you think???

Asthma, or panic?
I also received pulmicort and
ventolin
inhallations, after which I felt better. But two hours later the next attack. So I stayed the night and got many tests along the way, and had several more attacks.
