Minor set back with last blood tests.

Because of my age (74), I am on azacitidine injections, plus thioguanine tablets. Delay further treatment a week for another blood test, to see if any improvement in my WBC, if not may bring forward my biopsy to check what my bone marrow is doing.

My experience of AML.

Added to my Azacitidine was another tablet called Lanvis (thioguanine). I have had blood tests every month and my white cells are just under 2.50....red cells are just under 14 and platelets anywhere between 100 and 200. I am surviving.
