Blood Test and Doctors Appointments
I really like
seretide
because it is a combined inhaler. I don't know if there are any others like these? I have not booked a medication review as yet but will do so in the next couple of weeks. Rachel

My boyfriend just got diagnosed, could we get some advice?
My boyfriend (33) got diagnosed with asthma two months ago and is using albuterol and
seretide
200 to control it. He was doing OK to begin with but got worse and worse during the night time and had a severe attack last week (before the attack he was on a lower dose of
seretide
).

Could my sleep problems be caused by Singulair?
I use
seretide
, an anti histamine, plus numerous meds for other conditions. The only recent change has been the singulair. Our house has a lot of black mould which I am allergic to and if I try to clean it off the walls I seem to be a lot worse.

New user - Spiriva/tiotropium and a locum doctor
At first she was going to increase my
Seretide
, getting me to take 2 puffs. I pointed out that I'd been told not to do that because of the ratio between the two component drugs, and she then agreed. Instead she's given me Spiriva/tiotropium to take on top of
Seretide
.

My worst nightmare
This year however, two months ago precisely, my local GP has prescribed me (after many other different colours and types of preventers) with
Seretide
250. Now, Is this a new type of medication that was not available before?

Can't get used to new preventer after being switched off Becloforte
The final straw was the massive migraine the day before I saw the nurse, and she reckoned it was likely to have been triggered by the Q-var as I had the same problem with
Seretide
last year.

Seretide
Just a quick one, just been given
Seretide
to try (after 10 days on Pulmicort made me worse), do I need to wait for the effects to build up or should I see a difference pretty much straight away. Just wondered if the LABA part of it should work immediately?
