attack after steroid inhaler use
Whenever I use a steroid inhaler such as
seretide
or any other for that matter I immediately get an attack and my asthma gets worse. Then I have to use salbutamol to relieve the symptoms.Salbutamol works.

Seretide - Weight Gain
Hi All Following diagnosis I have been prescribed
seretide
125 inhaler 2 puffs twice a day. I have been on
seretide
for 6 weeks and the medication has certainly improved my breathing. The more worrying thing for me is the weight gain, I have put on 3 kilos during this period of time (6.5 1lbs).

Morning dip in peak flow + symptoms
Since then I've used Clenil, Serevent,
Seretide
, Symbicort and now Flutiform and I still find that I have a morning dip (although it is a lot smaller than when I was first diagnosed) with my asthma symptoms being worse in the morning unless something triggers me later in the day.

Doctors in Poland illegally paid to prescribe Seretide
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-26970873 I reckon Smith Glaxo Kline should be paying me, the amount of
Seretide
I get through and contribute to their ginormous profits.

Flutiform - adding another steroid inhaler
I'm not that new to asthma and I have tried a few meds including Clenil, Serevent,
Seretide
, Symbicort and now Flutiform and I'm really not willing to swap from Flutiform to another inhaler, especially because this is the most controlled my asthma has been for a while...

Seretide is it the answer?
I stopped my nasal sprays earlier this year and switched to nasal washing and that seems to have improved things, it's certainly stopped the thrush but I've kept taking my montelukast and
Seretide
250 x 4 a day taken with a spacer.

Ulcers
Im also on ciclesonide 160 2 puffs twice a day and
seretide
250 2 puffs twice a day and have been at that dose since December. Just lately I have noticed i've been getting real trouble with mouth ulcers. Not sure whether it is meds related or not but it is bothering me.

Sleep problems
His dose went up from
Seretide
50, 2 puffs in the evening and
Seretide
125 2 puffs in the morning as he was still having regular attacks and needing prednisolone too frequently.

out of hours
I've gone back up to 2 puffs twice a day of
seretide
and am on Singulair but with no relief. Anyway after a particularly tight chest this afternoon I went to walk in centre to be met with the usual ' chest is clear', if no better by Monday visit your Gp.

Negative results but allergic to something?! What?!!
She is on a lot of meds, montelukast,
seretide
125 (4 puffs a day), ventolin (4 puffs daily), theophlynne (caffeine tabs), nasonex (once a day), cetirizine (twice a day). TBH, I think our asthma consultant is a bit baffled with her as we all are. On average she is poorly at least once a month.

Lower than (my usual) average peak flow, and asthma nurse suddenly concerned.
made an appointment with my GP who sent me for a bunch of tests (sputum sample, blood work, lung capacity test, more peak flow tests before & after inhaler, and a chest x-ray) which were apparently all ""normal"", all that happened was that my preventative was changed to the Symbicort (used to be on

Hi everyone, I am new to this and was wondering if anyone could tell me the difference between copd and bronchiectasis. Thank you.
I have had asthma for around 10 or 12 years, have never smoked and am on ventolin and
seretide
. I became very ill a year ago with a very violent cough, exhaustion to the extent I could not even wash, lots of sputum and extremely breathless on exertion.

Does anyone using Seretide 25/250 have oral problems.
I have been using it for a number of years now but just lately have started to suffer with a sore throat and mouth. Does anyone else have any side affects.

Persistent Daytime cough that never goes....advice please!
Her GP is currently battling with the consultant to get Evie a long acting reliever (
seretide
or similar), I say it's a battle because its unlicensed for Evie's age! Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated! Thanks

3 year old struggling to get the right care
We saw the consultant in January who told me to see the GP and ask about a long acting reliever (Serevent or
seretide
) if Evie's symptoms persisted in this way and also she would agree to allergy tests.
