Orange accuhaler, Purple accuhaler.
I've tried to search the difference but I cannot find anything because when I type in the name of the orange accuhaler it comes up with
seretide
but that's the purple inhaler?

New year, same lungs
I bargained with the OOH doc but he wasn't comfortable prescribing me Flix on top of my (already maximum dose)
Seretide
as that is a decision to make with the resp consultant later on in the month, so I'm on Prednisolone at 25mg/day for a few days and then taper down again, doxycycline, and saline nebs

Seretide - not always any use?
Anyone else wonder sometimes if
Seretide
contains NO active ingredient? Once again I have spent three weeks with seriously runny nose on a new capsule and then switched
Seretide
early - and lo, the mucus reduces. Am I right? Am I wrong?

Seretide 250 Evohaler effectiveness.
I find that the effectiveness of
Seretide
Evohalers reduce during the 124 dose capacity. That is, if I use all 124 doses and then change to a new one, there is a substantial improvement in effectiveness which should not happen with metered doses. My GP even says that it DOES NOT happen!!

Seretide - aching hands. If side effect - reduce dosage or change inhaler?
Hi, I've had aching hands/arms for a few months now, wonder if it could be side effect for
seretide
-I've been on 1000 micrograms a day for a few years If it is a side effect , will it help to reduce dosage ( don't want to do it without consultant and I will see him in a few months time) or I will have

Home, but it's hard..
Like I say, I've got GP today at 3:30pm, so I'll probably get more Pred or some flix to add on to
Seretide
or something but.. Any thoughts? :/

Back on Seretide :D
After much deliberation, the doctors here at RBH said that actually, they can prescribe
Seretide
, but they have to fill out a form and decide it with a panel, on a case-by-case basis. And my case has been accepted! :D :D :D I had really good control with
Seretide
before, so I'm happy.

Confused about action plan
Seretide
has a long acting dilator so ought to improve pf. Q4.If it does improve within 48 hours, how long should I stay on the increased dose? Sorry for all the questions!

I was on
Seretide
125 and Ventolin. I am 60 years old, not senile, yet she made me feel like a naughty schoolgirl and constantly asked was I taking my meds.

Seretide side effects
COPD necessitated my
seretide
125 being increased to
seretide
250 with 2 puffs both morning and night. I noticed immediately that the night time dose left me feeling agitated and unable to sleep so I take it no later that 8pm though I'm still a poor sleeper.

COPD
The nurse has prescribed Ventolin, spiriva and
seretide
500 . She also told me that I was going for a chest x-Ray and on a treadmill due to my breathlessness and high pulse beat. I would appreciate if someone can tell me how bad or what stage I am in. Thank you, Raptorabz

Being stepped up.
She has decided to step up my preventative inhaler to
Seretide
inhaler and gave me the option of evohaler or accuhaler. I opted for the evohaler as I'm on so many other medications, so less confusing in my eyes.

COPD Going Backwards ?
Around 33% of my lung capacity had been lost due to years of smoking and I was put on Tiotropium once a day, and
Seretide
twice a day inhalers. My condition has been monitored at St Mary's Hospital, Paddington, London, since my diagnosis, and needless to say I have given up smoking.
