WTF! Completely floored after seeing the consultant today
I'm also on highest dose of
seretide
too. I genuinely don't think it's anxiety and my 'asthma' flares have happened in Oct/Dec/April and seem to be weather dependant. I've been breathless with resps 30-44 dropping sats 92% raised pulse on exertion. Shattered with dropping peak flow (in winter).

A quick question???
Hi all just want to ask a question I'm on day 6 of 3 weeks of tapered down pred and I've got to say over the last few days I've felt better than I have since being diagnosed (Dec 15) but I'm still waking up coughing in the morning at times 5am although once I take
seretide
and pred things seem to settle

Denied my repeat prescription of flixotide
The pharmacist took it upon himself to contact my dr and refuse my flixotide prescription as I'm taking
seretide
as well. My specialist prescribed it 18 months ago so it's not a new thing.

Bit of advice please
Went to see gp today (a locum) and she put me back on
seretide
which wasn't any good when I used it and loratadine first time on this. I go to see my fab asthma nurse next week so I'm thinking do I put up with the side effects of fostair for a week because it works or do I go back to

Sore mouth and throat.
I am using a

Relvar and Incruse
Also I seem to be gaining quite a lot of weight since I was changed to these instead of
Seretide
. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all,I'm new and really could do with some advice and support 🙂
I have had a diagnosis of post viral asthma,I am 38 years old and seem to be hypersensitive to the inhalers that I have used (qvar,
seretide
) I am waiting for tests to see why I had problems with them, however in the meantime my wheezing and coughing had gotten worse, I have been put on fluticasone low

Different inhaler
Hi ive now been taken off
seretide
250 1puff twice a day and put on fostair with a spacer 2 puffs twice a day. Is there a big difference between the 2 inhalers or is it a case of what suits the person .

up to 2 puffs twice a day with a spacer now downside for some reason blood pressure (taken 4times) was high 😒🙄 back in a month to see

Reducing meds
Just wondered what the criteria for reducing meds as I'd like to be off the
seretide
that I'm currently taking. I use my ventolin about 2 times a week and whenever I exercise. I'm not due to see the gp for another 3 months but my action plan is due for review.

Are peak flow readings necessarily reflective of asthma condition?
My reason for asking is that I woke up wheezing this morning - as is normal for me at some stage (s ) of the day- and have also been coughing and wheezing since-relieved thankfully by my inhaler- yet my peak flow this morning was 410, going up to 440 after taking my

125 (4 puffs this morning

Is Seretide causing more problems than the asthma?
I always wondered if there was a link to the acid reflux and
seretide
, as it started a few weeks after I began taking the inhaler. Anyway, I decided to try to drop my
seretide
dose to once a day (instead of twice) and see if having less acid has had a positive effect on my asthma.

Wondering about inhalers and asthma exacerbation.
Hello all, Thankfully, have not had an asthma exacerbation whilst on the new inhalers -ciclesonide and
seretide
. Â Had a sinus problem and used my ventolin then and all was well. Â Was wondering if like with my old inhalers I could up the dose of these if I did have a bad asthma exacerbation. Â
