My boyfriend just got diagnosed, could we get some advice?
Hi, I was wondering if anyone has some advice for someone who is new to asthma. My boyfriend (33) got diagnosed with asthma two months ago and is using albuterol and seretide 200 to control it. He was doing OK to begin with but got worse and worse during the night time and had a severe attack last week

Sodium Hypochloride.....bleach etc
I take many inhalers at unliscenced doses, multiple tablets, long term high dose steroids and a sub-cutaneous pump of terbutaline/
salbutamol
. To go back to my post title my question is this; Does anyone else have a massive problem with any sodium hypochloride based product?

200mcg Salbutamol
However, the other day I had a particularly bad one, my reliever wasn't helping, but a friend I was with had a 200mcg
salbutamol
accuhaler - in my ""i'll do anything"" frame of mind, I tried this inhaler - and it did just the job at taking the edge off my attack so that I could use a spacer neb-style

Side effects?
Can these things come about from taking alot of
salbutamol
? My asthma has recently worsened and have been taking my reliever more, are these normal side effects? They don't tend to come and go as i take my inhaler, rather seem to stay day in, day out... Emz

New user - Spiriva/tiotropium and a locum doctor
My asthma peaked when I was about 11 or 12, but had been fairly well controlled with
salbutamol
and fluticasone until earlier this year. Since July I've had 7 courses of prednisolone, and we can't seem to identify the trigger(s).

Steroid tablets
I'm already on 1mg/2ml pulmicort,
salbutamol
, atrovent nebules and singulair tablets. Does anyone know how long it takes for all your bodys systems to revert back to normal or if there are any tests which can be done to check?.

Ashtma night cough - not really anyother symptoms!
I'm now on 4 puffs of the preventor (Symbicort 200/6) twice a day, 2 puffs of
salbutamol
at bed time and a singular tablet at bedtime, and I'm still waking in the night with a cough. But I'm fine during the day. Does anyone else have this problem?
