Asthma attacks in sleep?
It calmed down after i sat up taken some
salbutamol
and done some breathing exercises. But i was wondering can you have attacks in your sleep? And is there anyway to prevent them?

Is this asthma?
But still using my
salbutamol
about 4 times a day. I am in hopsital about every 5 weeks. and distrups my life. Tests have shown a normal lung function... no allergies shown on testing.... only a small reaction on histamine challenge test..... but I have high total IgE and high eosinophils level.

Asthma and lack of/reduced sleep
Im symptomatic quite severely at night, my mum can hear me wheezily sleeping and wakes me up around 6/7 times to give me
salbutamol
. Which doesnt really help and Im getting through 2-3
salbutamol
inhalers per week. So yeah just wondering can lack of sleep make asthma worse? :s

Not Well :(
Anyway, I am on Prednisolone 30 mg maintenance dose, Atrovent inhaler 4 puffs twice a day,
Salbutamol
4 puffs 4 times a day, Seretide 250 2 puffs four times a day and Singulair 10 mg nightly. My asthma is poorly controlled and my GP is arranging a loan of a home nebuliser.

Pleural rub
I've got a chest infection, and am on 2 sorts of high dose anti-biotics, 25mg Pred,
salbutamol
nebs and have been give co-codamol to take. If I take 1 painkiller, it doesn't work, but 2 make me feel sick and spaced out.

peakflow improved since having steroid nasal spray
I was using
salbutamol
a lot and GP was not sure why. Anyway, he changed my nasal spray and eye drops to steroid rather than antihistamine ones, and I have used the salb. far less and my peak flow has improved. I also take loratadine every day. Maybe it is coincidence, but I think not. Kathyx

Review on Monday
Still don't feel back to normal can't do everything I was doing before, taking more
salbutamol
and not working so long and maybe the worst of it being woken at night with atypical attacks.
