Ventolin Evohaler
size evohaler but I seem to have used way more than 200 doses but it doesnt seem to be empty-does the fact that you are still getting a ""blast"" of propellant mean that you are also getting active ingredients or is it safer to assume that once you reach the 200 doses ,you will not be getting any more

What are the steroid shape changes?
I am currently in week 6 of a hospital admission for an exacerbation which just isn't settling, despite continuous iv
salbutamol
etc etc. Throughout this time I've been receiving 100mg iv hydrocortisone four times a day, and every attempt to drop the dose has destabilised the asthma.

Singulair
(He also takes Symbicort and
Salbutamol
.) We were just wondering how long it is likely to be before the Singulair makes any difference to his symptoms (if at all!) Thanks very much H

Two questions please - anyone know the answer to the Beclazone question?
Now the little one has been prescribed
salbutamol
liquid, which is helping a lot. Does this mean that he has asthma, or could it be an allergy to something? Thanks for all your help. Kathyx

Unwell on Symbicort
I've been using in place of
salbutamol
since it was prescribed, probably a few extra puffs a day. The problem is my chest feels really funny now - certainly clear, I'm not wheezy or anything, but there is a feeling I can't describe and it's a bit uncomfortable.

What next? Feeling a bit down with it all
I am on what most doctors consider ""max meds"" -
salbutamol
, symbicort, spiriva, oxis, ciclesonide, home nebs and now pred for a little while. There is no point in making an appointment with my GP - although she is absolutely fantastic, there is nothing more she can do to help.

Cost of inhalers
Hi I have just been to Tenerife on holiday and realised I had left my Salmeterol at home - and taken three
salbutamol
, as well as my tiotropium. Much to my relief,I found a pharmacy where I could buy a Salmeterol inhaler over the counter - at a cost of 35 euros!

Been prescribed Pred for the first time - dare I take it?
Prescribed
Salbutamol
which had an immediate relieving effect as PF increased to 510. Kept a PF record as requested which looks like the Himalayas. After having a think about triggers I remembered that we had started using some memory pillows at about the same time so immediately removed them.

Stronger reliever?
Is there such thing as a stronger reliever than the standard
salbutamol
, or have I somehow grown ""immune"" to it? Thanks in advance, Emz

Spiriva Capsules
I know you can only use them if you can 'suck in' enough breath and luckily I was able to meet the requirmemts, but after only one dose I was feeling 100% better than just using
Salbutamol
and Seretide, it really has changed my life, only trouble is if I forget one I am twice as bad as I was before

Saline Nebs
During my recent admission they used them regularly (as well as
salbutamol
and atrovent nebs) but haven't continued them or anything similar - I just wondered what their purpose was as it was never explained?

Dairy free
I never need to use my
Salbutamol
inhaler unless I am exerting myself in exercise but have continued to used my steroid inhaler twice daily. If only I had known about being 'dairy' intolerant all those years ago, my life would have been totally different.
