15 month old - 'probably asthma' - advice please x
He has upped her dosage of Ventolin and given her another inhaler
Salbutamol
(are they the same?), and also a short course of Prednisalone (sorry not sure how to spell it!). Also put her on amoxycillin (again!).

Tired after exacerbation - is it partly due to salbutamol or what?
I sometimes feel totally smashed, and it's since I take
salbutamol
3x daily. When something fell down, I got so unnerved and aggressive, not being able to take anything more. Do you know this effect of
salbutamol
? Does it make you kind of more exhausted and less resilient to stress?

Cold or Flu Asthma Trigger
I am now on the Symbicot and
Salbutamol
, which I take daily to control my asthma and it does a very good job. I also ride my bike every day to work to control my asthma.

What strong painkillers can I take?
I'm using
Salbutamol
regularly to try and ward off an attack, can't double up on the preventer as I already take the max dose. There is an added complication - I've recently had major abdominal surgery.

not sure on advice
Gp advised giving Clenil 4 times a day and
Salbutamol
when needed 6 puffs at a time every 30 mins if needed. He says if she was on a nebulizer it would be about 10 puffs every 5 mins. Can't overdose on
Salbutamol
. Going back next week.

What might be next?
I have just been referred to a specialist and am on 40mg pred until then, as well as 8x200/6 symbicort, singulair and
salbutamol
coming out of my ears. I was wondering what the next step is likely to be?

How to know when to take reliever?
I should say I don't really like taking it if it's at all avoidable, it makes me very shaky (I take terbutaline because
salbutamol
always made my heart go into overdrive!) Any advice/comments are greatly appreciated! :)

Advice about temp with cough
My 7 year old son has severe asthma and takes seratide 50 as well as
salbutamol
. Over the past few days he's had a horrible cough and started with a temperature. Took him to see the GP who gave him steroids and antibiotics but told me to take him to a&e if he became floppy.

Confused? Well, now I am more than confused, what on earth is going on
I also had the reversibility test and I knew the
salbutamol
made no improvement so in each of the 3 readings, I am sitting thinking, oh, this is bad, I should be able to produce more breath than that.

Constant sneezing and nasal irritation - reaction to Seretide
Partly because of this, and because I kept forgetting, I wasn't taking Seretide at all, but using
Salbutamol
once a day if I felt I needed to. My sneezing stopped. The sinusitis is much better and I'm now back on the seretide. My sneezing is back and I'm bunged up also.

The next step up??
Hi all, Well...I'm moaning about nothing really, and I apologise, but despite taking more Symbicort and
salbutamol
than I could count, and having singular at night as well, my peak flow is hovering around 350 and I'm feeling pretty rubbish.

Oral salbutamol
(Seretide, ventolin, montelukast, prednisolone, certirizine, risedronate and uniphyllin ) and they have now decided to give me oral
salbutamol
8mg twice daily. But I can't seem to find much info on it, so I was wondering if anyone here is on it or knows anything about it? Can it be used long term?

Frustration over GPs!
It's very predictable, 3 days into a cold she gets bad and I start her on treatment with her
salbutamol
inhaler. I assess the situation and start on 4 puffs every 4 hours or so.
