Myeloproliferative Disorders: The problems of being unusual.
I was diagnosed with
Polycythaemia
Vera in December of last year. I think I will identify with many of those people who say that they have been unwell off and on for years one way and another along with a multitude of irritating but not constantly debilitating symptoms.

vera - PV, essential thrombocythaemia - ET, and myelofibrosis - MF, as ‘myeloproliferative neoplasms’, hence the use of MPN on some websites and in medical papers, though we still use the term ‘myeloproliferative disorders
