Pentostatin

It should list all medications you're on, mention your immuno-compromised status, and if you’ve ever had treatment with one of the "purine analogue" medications (eg Fludarabine (part of FCR treatment), FCR, pentostatin, cladribine or bendamustine/rituxan,, it should explain that any blood transfusion

It simply amazes me how many fludarabine treated CLL patients are not aware of this fact... it also apples to Cladrabine and pentostatin all purine analogs in fact. Also a good idea for bendamustine and campath...

The profound lymphopenia caused by fludarabine, bendamustine, pentostatin cladrabine...renders patients susceptible to transfusion-associated graft versus host disease, a fatal complication of blood transfusion.
