Pegintron

There has been a recent resurgence of interest in interferons for MPNs given the development of pegylated formulations, including pegylated interferon alfa-2a (Pegasys), pegylated interferon alfa-2b (PegIntron), and ropeginterferon alfa-2b (Besremi).

The report above has another hidden item on PegIntron if this area, it's dosed on weight while PEG is not. <<PEG IFN-α 2a was 180 mcg (subcutaneously) every week.

I believe they compared IFNα 2(a) Pegasys and IFNα 2(b) PegIntron. They don't go deep enough here to explain. The image here shows CHR for the two INFs and HU. Surprise is the large diff between the two INFs, almost same diff as 2(a) to HU. NE means not evaluated bec of discontinuing.

Dosing of Pegasys is higher than for PegIntron, typically 45 vs 35 mcg. Treatment related toxicity and discontinuation were highest with IFNα-2b (PegIntron) , 38% then 30% for IFNα-2a, (Pegasys) and HU was least at 8%. Note re Ropeg below.

As some research points to superiority of Interferon in terms of disease progression I've tried Pegintron (90mcg) right after diagnosis and tried it another time (this time Roferon-A 3x3) last week.

and Zadoxin/Timolin L(also twice a week). After 4 month it was negative. But after 6 month i had some blood pressure and because it i stoped treatment. And virus came again. What you recomend?
