Onbrez and Spiriva memory loss and eyes side effects???
Hello I have been using Spiriva for 9 years, 6 years on Symbicort ( very dangerous) and for 2 years I am on Spiriva and Onbrez 150mg. I can tell you that after I stopped Symbicort, my face became normal, because it was swollen. Recently I have had some serious memory loss issues, hoarseness and some

Some success with breathing excercises and new meds.
Hi, This week I attended an excellent pulmonary physio at the hospital I am attending. She is trained in amongst other things Buteyko. From this she has cobbled together a set of excercises based on both conventional breathing retraining for hyperventilation and Buteyko. I have been practicing these

I was prescribed this combination and am just about to start taking them and wondered if anyone else is on this combination and if so how long have you been taking them and how do you find them in comparison to others you may have been on before? I was on Sprivia which I was fine with by Symbicort always

Inhalers, What is available ?
My GP told me that I was on the ONLY treatments available for COPD, I was on ONBREZ once a day combined with SERITIDE twice a day. I went home and did some research and found out about the new inhaler Relvar Ellipta, I went back to the GP and demanded this to try which meant stopping the other two inhalers

Talking about Medication
I guess I have taken most of the medications mentioned on this site but have settled (for some time) on Symbicort (three puffs a day) and Spiriva (one puff). Atrovent, Ventolin either as a MDI or nebuliser really have no noticeable effect. Also tried OnBrez but it made my breathing worse (like a lead

Hello Everyone, My name is Martin and I have Stage 4 Emphysema
. I was first diagnosed in 2000.My meds are currently Symbicort 400/12 and Spiriva. Prednisone and Zithromycin when having an exacerbation. I have tried Onbrez, but it made it harder for me to breathe for at least an hour and I did not see any benefit. Also I have taken the usual Ventolin and Atrovent

Which is best
I was diagnosed with COPD 3 years ago. My initial medication was Spiriva. Which works to a degree. I say works to a degree because I'm wondering if the spiriva is supposed to make breathing easier or normal. I can take spiriva and still get puffy when I'm gardening, or drying my hair, and not just

Indacaterol (onbrez) inhaler
Has anybody started using the onbrez inhaler instead of Spiriva Respimat? I seem to have had a rather bad reaction to Respimat and have been looking at what could take its place. And this seems the best to ask the doctor for. Sometimes I like to do my own own research and be my doctor.
