Should I get second opinion? Rheumy not convinced.

Allergy immunotheraphy pill was Grazax (Grastek in USA). Soon after starting Grazax I got almost all possible side effects, red throat/pharynx, congestion, GERD etc.

Hi All, Just a quick question to see if anyone else is taking Grazax immunology tablets & if so how are you finding them? I was prescribed these on Tue as a last ditch attempt to control the hay fever as it kicks off severe asthma.

I was just wondering if anyone had heard of this treatment as my consultant mentioned that it might be worth trying. He didnt really explain why though. What does it do? Are there any side effects? Thanks Em x

Funding :S

Basically I have been waiting since January for funding for Grazax which still hasnt arrived- I have a letter from the PCT saying that it is being considered by an 'Exceptional Funding committee'. Does anyone have any idea what one of these is?
