Asthma worse but no
I currently take
fostair
200/6 2 puffs twice a day, Tiotropium bromide 2 puffs once a day, Fexofenadine 180mg twice a day and ompeprezole 40mg. My asthma had been well controlled for about 4mths until yesterday morning. I woke up and my chest just felt off, I could feel an intermittent wheeze.

Fostair 100/6
This started within about 2 days of taking the
Fostair
. I’m on Fexo 120mg. I take the
Fostair
through a spacer and gargle and brush my teeth afterwards. Otherwise my side effects seem to be minimal!

Fostair 200/6 Is it normal to develop headaches and it trigger migraines? Any advice on alternatives?
I started
fostair
200/6 about 6 weeks ago after becoming unsettled on
fostair
100/6. I had no problems with 100/6-no side effects and found it settled my asthma quite well for a while.

Fostair and oral thrush
I’ve been on
fostair
for around a year now and I can never fully get rid of oral thrush :( I rinse my mouth thoroughly after taking it in the mornings/evenings but that doesn’t seem to help AT ALL. Is there anything else I can do to prevent it? Also what is the best treatment?!

Lung pain and inflammation
Inflammation of the lungs and pain has been well controlled by
Fostair
200 for six months.Exposure to tiny amounts of fumes or dust is a source of flare ups.At these times I increase the dose to 300 and use cocodamol for the pain.At the moment I am experiencing a flare up which after 14 days is not

COPD or Asthma ???
Had ambulance to take to me to A & E, had used 3 lots of Prednisone and was eventually prescribed
Fostair
which helped a lot and settled problems. Was also given app to see respiratory consultant. Following this app and another spirometry test was told I didn't have COPD but Asthma.

Switch to MART fostair from seretide
Having been on seretide 250mg for a good few years, as well as added in spiriva respimat, fexofenadine, montelukast and nasal spray (recent change to dymista), have been switched onto
fostair
100/6 MART. According to my plan, its 2 puffs twice daily, plus an extra 4 as and when.

Really Struggling with Fostair
My heart pounds and my hands shake after the

Another inhaler change... Steroid Card or not?
So, the
Fostair
really wasn't working out for me (https://healthunlocked.com/asthmauk/posts/146157097/seretide-to-
fostair
) so I was back to the nurse who has now given me a new inhaler - this time it's a Relvar 182/22.

Managing trial seasonal reduction of inhaler
However, I started reducing, to 3 puffs of
Fostair
200/6 in 24 hours from 4 puffs, and now, of course, I don’t know if that stopped my PF improving or if it is caused by my reduction in
Fostair
intake or not.

Duo Resp Spiromax
I was taking seretide for years and then went on to
Fostair
which was no good. In previous years I have been short of breath for several weeks from March until end of June. I have had the odd blip which lasted a few days. I take more medication for my asthma, ABPA and bronchiectasis.

Mucus Problem
I have been using a
fostair
inhaler for a couple of years combined with nasal sprays/nasal rinse. My doctor prescribed antihistamine but this had little effect. I have a reliever inhaler but try not to use it. The symptoms are gradually getting worse.
