A choice between medications for complex migraine - anyone had experiences on these medications ?

I have got my report through from the NMC and my medication choices  to try are atenolol in the first instance , atenolol a beta blocker, flunarizine, or candersartin. My specialist has also recommended Botox.

Poll - who's had weight gain /tiredness from flunarizine and who hasn't?? Trying to find out how common they really are with this drug

I wabted to do a poll to see how many people on flunarizine got weight gain and/or tiredness and how many didn't. Although they are both listed as common side effects I'm just wondering how common they really are as I know everyone reacts differently. I know one person here hasn't had them.

Consequently, I'm hesitant about taking Flunarizine. My next step is to submit to Greater Occipital Nerve block injections at the end of August......

I was taking serc for some time. A new doctor changed the medication to flunarizine. The dizzzyness got more permanent. Is this typical?

flunarizine and Botox

Has anyone tried flunarizine? I suffer from daily chronic migraines and cluster headaches , and tension headaches. Has anyone had any luck with this drug. .... My Neuro Dr says I now able to get funding for Botox.
