Dad has brain cancer, heart issues, and now PSA has increased. Concerned about medication complications..
Hello friends! It's been a long time since I've posted. It's hard to keep up with my dad's health on my end.. we've had so many close calls that his prostate cancer has felt like a bump on the head compared to all the rest of his concerns! So, to bring everyone up to speed as quickly as I can, dad

Does anyone have any feedback on Exemestane as a monotherapy after prior progression on endocrine therapy (Arimidex), aromotose inhibitors (
Faslodex
), iBrance, Talzenna and/or Xeloda?

MO tells us that there is no value in PSMA PET now. Her plan is to reimage CT chest, pelvis, abdomen, and repeat bone scan and compare to initial in May. All were negative then. MRI showed IV PCa and 2 inguinal nodes: started 30 days Casodex, now on second Eligard. Local pelvis and LN Rad to start

lymph nodes
After prostate surgery 2007, radiation 2009 general area, PSA went up 4.6. Started on Lupron, hot flashes, very very tiredness, switched to Casodex. PSA went down back up and dow again, from .23 to .83 recently. Went in for nuclear scan, showed lymph nodes only area positive. What is the treatment now

Helpful hints starting Xeloda
After 5 1/2 years success with Ibrance, only 9 months of success with
Faslodex
. Starting on Xeloda on a few days, any helpful hints and what to expect would be appreciated.

Rezvilutamide: new anti-androgen is better than Casodex added to ADT for newly diagnosed high-met HSPC. But is field too crowded?
Jiangsu Hengrui Medicine, a Chinese pharmaceutical manufacturer, published impressive results for its new drug Rezvilutamide. They randomized patients with 4 or more bone metastases to Rezvilutamide+ADT or Casodex+ADT. It increased 2-year radiographic progression-free survival by 56% and 2-year overall

SOC options have run out, PSMA negative, declining health - what's next?
My husband was diagnosed with high grade prostate cancer in 4/06 Gleason 4+3=7 in 12/12 cores with 90 to 100% involvement of the tissue cores. His original clinical staging was T2c versus T3. PSA at that time was 6.4. -First treatment was brachytherapy and IMRT. Undetectable PSA never reached. -Recurrance

Anyone on Afinitor ?
I have had the Ibrance in 3 different combos , the last being with
Faslodex
for the past 2 years. But once again there is progression and we will be making a change.

tingling/numb fingers
After 18 months with daily 50mg bicalutamide mono therapy have tingling/numbness in pinky and ring finger of left hand. PSA remains below 0.1. Fingers work fine. It’s just irritating not debilitating. I read tingling is a listed Casodex side effect. Very reluctant to stop use because PSA remains very
