Dopamine
I have been researching the benefits of taking
dopamine
, to help moods, depression and to give a boost on how to cope with difficult situations. But the more I read, the more confused I become.

Anyone with similar condition? Anxiety, Depression, Dry eyes, heart palpitations, chronic fatigue, headaches etc.
I mean what are the signs for serotonin,
dopamine
and norepinephrine deficiencies? I apologise for the long post, and I wholeheartedly appreciate everyone reading it till here. These are really what I'm currently going through and have a hard time struggling with it.

5-HTP + L-TYROSINE for Depression?
I've learned that since 5htp decreases other catecholamines (
dopamine
, noradrenaline, and adrenaline) we should also be increasing them. But how to maintain proper balance and know the side effects for each?

Melatonin inhibit dopamine?
I've read that it could inhibit
dopamine
. I've stopped for now taking that melatonin because my RLS has been increasing a lot!! Ang guess what? After 3 days, for the first night I got it only in the middle of the night and I went for a cold shower on my legs and it was ok for the whole night.

People of HU - From Stuntwoman and Triathlete to Parkinson’s Patient
A DaTscan (an imaging technique that helps visualize
dopamine
transporter levels in the brain) proved the theory. After all those years of not feeling well I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease and essential tremor. I started medication and my depression started to subside.

Sinemet Slow-release Hard Candy
Has anyone tried making a home-made slow-release levodopa lozenge or hard candy that you can suck on and have constant levels of
dopamine
in your system?

What is your fix?
My psychiatrist told me that a person with ADD usually have a “fix”, something that gets the
dopamine
to rush through his veins, something that calms down the restlessness. Things like tobacco, drugs and alcohol are common fixes but others find their fix in activities where they can hyper focus.

Combining Different Ideas About PD Can Be Enlightening
Berberine interacts with the gut biome to produce more levodopa which then goes to the brain to be converted to
dopamine
. Cinnamon also has positive effects on the gut microbiota. I could go on, but I think you have the general idea.

Small Molecules, STARs Treat Cell Models of GBA1-linked Parkinson’s
For Parkinson’s, the cells were engineered into dopaminergic neurons (nerve cells that make the signaling molecule
dopamine
), as this disease is caused by the death and dysfunction of these neurons in the brain.

Dopamine agonists and their aftermath - A Survey
But I would like to know how many of us feel, even long after quitting
dopamine
agonists, that things have never been the same and that we have suffered some degree of damage to the delicate
dopamine
system, resulting in a lowered quality of life.

Hi! Just joined and could really use some help and support.
I learned excess
dopamine
in your system is responsible for impulse control, competitiveness, aggression and reward based motivation (among other things).

Some RLS experiences which might possibly be helpful in understanding the condition
Eventually however, after 40 years, the disease had progressed to the point where I had to take recourse to drugs like
dopamine
agonists and gabapentin, which I have been on for 10 years now.

Dopamine

dopamine

A chronological model for the pathogenesis of PD
Parkinson’s disease is characterized by the loss of dopaminergic neurons in the substantia nigra in the midbrain and a deficit of
dopamine
in the terminal synapses in the striatum, but a simple model presenting the stages leading up to this condition has so far not been presented.

Temgesic Experience
It seems that it takes 8 days for Temgesic to be flushed out of the body and so I crossed over to the dreaded
dopamine
agonists again. I went on to Pramipexole as it works quicker than Ropinirole, starting with 0.088mg then upping it to 0.18mg as the lower dose did not work for me.

Zhittya Genesis Medicine's Drug Reverses Aggregated Synuclein Accumulation in an Animal Model of Parkinson's Disease
I posted earlier on preclinical findings that our growth factor drug (human FGF-1) can regenerate new
dopamine
-secreting neurons in a primate model of PD. This led to a significant improvement in motor skill functioning of the monkeys.
