I think my first cardioversion failed
I saw a Cardiologist in June 2022 and he recommended a
cardioversion
. I had a
cardioversion
done on late June it was successful after one shock. My heart rate went from high 90 to 50. But after a week my heart rate went back to 90.

100% Eletrical Heart block with A Flutter
I just had my seventh
cardioversion
last week to snap me out of a flutter. My symptoms are at my resting rate which is between 75 and 85. I feel perfect but once I walk 100 yards I am totally out of breath.

Amiodrone
I have just been told that I will have to take Amiodrone followed by a
cardioversion
in 5 weeks time. As somebody who could not tolerate flecaincide and who struggles to tolerate a lot of medication, this makes me nervous.Any experience of it out there please?

Flecainide side effects
I’m three weeks post
cardioversion
, four ablation. I’ve been taking flecainide 100mg twice a day for three weeks and today feel rather weak. Have lost about 5 pounds in two weeks due to largely cutting out sugar in my tea and coffee.

Just had an ablation 2 days ago and wonder if anyone has had bad reactions to the sedative?
After my first
cardioversion
I had the same problem, so I informed my doctor and in the next two cardiofversions I was given some kind of anti-nausea medication along with the Fentanyl and recovered quite comfortably.

Is there an anti arrhythmia drug which doesn't have a side effect of nausea?
I had a phone call this morning with a date for a
cardioversion
but when I said that I was no longer taking amiodorane, I was told that it wouldn't happen. Can anybody suggest an anti arrhythmia drug which doesn't cause nausea and vomiting.

😞 IT’S BACK
I’m having an EKG done Monday and if my rate isn’t better by Tuesday he is talking
cardioversion
. I am scared to death of that procedure I know many of you have had it were you afraid? Do they actually stop your heart first or do it with your heart beating?

CRTD and pacing
hi everyone, I had a CRTD pacemaker with defib inserted about 18 days ago as I had a cardiac arrest in hospital after being given a loading dose of digoxin whilst on Dronederone, following a
cardioversion
that initially worked but then put me into afib with high heart rate.

PVCs post cardioversion
Been in hospital since I left home after a
cardioversion
that put me in nsr but with multiple PVCs and going in and out of Afib which resulted in me being taken by ambulance with fluid overload on lungs and heart. Still in on a monitor and waiting on next move as don’t feel good like this.

Are you able to help?
The CRAVE-SR study will focus on individuals with a diagnosis of persistent AF, who have previously undergone or are planned to undergo DC
cardioversion
. This may also include patients who have also undergone catheter ablation for AF.

Your thoughts/experiences please about a change to a high dose of Sotalol (120mg twice a day).
After 90 mins I was still in AF so they prepared me for a
cardioversion
. Either the process of hooking me up, or the increased Sotalol, put me back in NSR so they did not have to give me a zap.

Amiodarone
I was diagnosed with Afib in February and in preparation for
Cardioversion
my consultant has written requesting that I take Amiodarone “for a short period” but that I should be aware of “a low possibility of liver or thyroid side effects and pulmonary fibrosis” It sounds like one of those good news/

Stay in the hospital for Tikosyn dosage
Did you have to have
cardioversion
during your stay? Is it scarry? Just dreading it not knowing what to expect.
