First major pathological fracture
Dr would like him to try
Cabazitaxel
but husband is not sure given his bad experience with Docetaxel. Dr also considering provenge. We’re literally at a crossroads on a couple fronts. Any advice appreciated.

A look at the next generation of Androgen Receptor therapies--AR Degraders/PROTACS
Today, people turn to things like Provenge, Xofigo, Lu-177 or
Cabazitaxel
, but in the future, these kind of drugs will be the answer also. But... what is a PROTAC /AR Degrader??

NICE not playing nice again.
Though clinical trial evidence showed that study subjects taking Lynparza had improved progression-free survival and overall survival, NICE said that there is no direct comparison of Lynparza to the current standard of care for metastatic prostate cancer, which includes chemotherapy drugs docetaxel,

Results from Foundation One Cdx, IHC, Neuroendocrine tests
My husband tried and failed on Zytiga, chemo (docetaxel), Zytiga, Lu177 and now trying Xtandi before moving on to
cabazitaxel
and possibly with Xofigo but Im not sure if I can source this one out in Singapore because its not available here in the Philippines.

Update and Questions on Cabazitaxel
What is your experience with
Cabazitaxel
(Jetvana)? 2. Is
Cabazitaxel
worse, better, or about the same as Docataxel? 3. What is your experience with a medi-port? We’re praying it’s a lot less invasive than the CVC-Central vena catheter. The CVC definitely interfered with Jim’s QOL.

Anyone have experience or knowledge of AZD4635
Dad has been recommended for a clinical trial combing AZD4635, Dyrvalumab,
Cabazitaxel
and Granulocyte-colony stimulating factor. It's phase 2 and thought maybe someone had knowledge of phase 1.

Remember two weeks ago when I freaked out?
Had my scan yesterday to see how well
cabazitaxel
is working to clean up my neuroendocrine cancer, and if anything, it's been fertilizing it. My liver looked awful.

"breaks the blood brain barrier" scares me
I have noticed that it is said of
Cabazitaxel
that it "breaks the blood brain barrier". Docetaxel scrambled my brain effectively but does not "break the blood brain barrier". Is this a cause for concern? All best, Baltha

Quick Update
In mid December I felt so awful on
cabazitaxel
that I was ready to pack it in and focus on making myself comfortable. Then I realized that getting the cancer out of my liver would make me comfortable and the rest is history.

Cabazitaxel Cycle 2
The side effects are past their peak, but I'm still tired and sore and moody. Read my blog to find out about the little road trip I took today to avoid another emotional meltdown. https://tominmotion.blogspot.com/2020/11/quick-post.html

Freaking out over latest blood test results
I just started my third cycle of
cabazitaxel
chemotherapy and have a scan scheduled for December 15th. The blood test results from Monday are not encouraging. Liver enzymes and LDH are all above normal and at record high levels for me.

Rising PSA after 7th infusion of Jevtana (Cabazitaxel)
Hi guys, I'm just wondering if anyone else was in a similar boat or could share any knowledge? So my dads psa has declined every cycle since he started Jevtana in August.
