How to tell severity without peak flow?
Of course, this might mean I don't have asthma at all; I also haven't responded to Ventolin, Serevent, Clenil, Symbicort or
Bricanyl
. I started getting breathless (again, had very mild childhood asthma) in 2009 after I had what I'm pretty sure was swine flu.

Omalizumab (Xolair) trial
This would be ok, but as part of the study you have to stop all current medications and switch to Symbicort 100/6 initially at 2 puffs twice a day, then once a day, with
Bricanyl
turbohaler as a reliever.

I have used

Bricanyl
???? Sorry for the rant!

Symbicort to be liscenced as a reliever?
I never knew it had a short acting reliever in it too, the first time I was in hospital I was told to take my
Bricanyl
before I took it to open up my tubes. Anyone else heard about this or use it as a reliever already? Beth

Bricanyl inhalers
Hi I've just been to the chemist to collect my repeat prescription and have been told that
Bricanyl
inhalers have been discontinued. I find they work better than Salbutamol inhalers - does anyone know of an alternative? Thanks Sarah

Re Phasing out Becotide Has anyone heard whether it's true?
I was on
Bricanyl
, Serevent 50mg and Becotide 200mg, but over a year ago, i was put on Symbicort and ventolin, i'm sure the reason they swapped me was because of the phasing out of becotide...though i did get on better when i was on the 3 seperate inhalers...
