Is it safe to take this medicine when breastfeeding?
I was prescribed labetalol before the procedure and am still on it now however the advice on the packet suggests that its not recommended for use when
breastfeeding

Return to work and breastfeeding
Does anyone here have experience/advice? My little man will be just over 6m when I go back to work and I really want to carry on breast feeding beyond this. He will probably be at nursery 2 days a week and with a childminder 2 days a week. I have been expressing the odd bottle for convenience up to now

Xolair and pregnancy
My partner and I would like to start a family soon but there is very little information available on the risks of being pregnant and
breastfeeding
whilst receiving xolair and so my consultant has always been very strongly against it.

Morning after pill whilst breastfeeding
Hi, Bit embarrassed to say this but last night we had a slight slip up and now am completely panicked because I think I need to take the morning after pill. I've taken it in the past but I'm breast feeding my littlest and I'm worried about all the hormones which is why we were using condoms in the first

Hi all, my daughter-in-law has been suffering from PNI and been on meds but can't remember the name but begins with S , she is breastfeeding
She has been doing really well and been on them for 4mths (110mg). However this last few days we have seen a dip and quite a large one which is obviously quite worrying. Why would she be taking a back turn, is this usual, is there any advice you can give.....all help will be very grateful. Thank.

Gall stones and Breastfeeding
I know not many people may not be able to help but I am still waiting to hear back from the HV. I went to a and e on Monday night and was kept in intil last night as I've got gall stones (one stuck) and I was very jaundiced. I have been in agony and I've lost nearly a stone. LO is now more or less weaned

Misleading Daily Mail Article About Breastfeeding vs Bottle Feeding
One of our bloggers (a new mum) discusses an article in the Daily Mail that completely misrepresents a scientist in an awful link baiting exercise. Really poor show but sadly not unexpected. http://researchtheheadlines.org/2014/02/21/breastmilk-quality/

Having a bad day :-( Support required from lovely mummies!!
I have been
breastfeeding
her which hasn't gone smoothly at all. She has been using me as a dummy and has been seeing her feeds as the way to sleep. I have ended up with mastitis and was really quite poorly with that (flu like symptoms) and it lasted for a week.

Tongue tie baby still not latching on well= very painful!
She has now had her tongue fixed but still isn't latching on very well and is making
breastfeeding
feeding almost unbearable as she still won't open her mouth wide. Does anyone know how long it will take her to get the hang of it?

Reflux, irritability and dairy?
I was initially dairy free when I first started
breastfeeding
but reintroduced dairy 10 days ago (LO is 13 wks old). For the past few days, LO has been regurgitating rivers of milk and seems more irritable while possetting.

Considering asking for the pill. Any thoughts?
I've had this for around 15 years; particularly bad during pregnancy but absent during
breastfeeding
- makes me convinced its an hormonal thing.

Lactation cookies recipe
If you are already
breastfeeding
, try eating the dough as well as the cookies, as it seems to be even more effective at increasing supply, but do not eat the dough if you are pregnant due to the risk of eating raw egg. •1 cup self raising wholemeal flour (if you have plain flour, add 1/2 tsp baking powder

He is still
breastfeeding
we have started to offer food but no mashing or purifying I'm just baby led weaning. 7.30 bedtime till around 6.30am. He's not crawling but can easily pivot around. Lol. No teeth as yet not even teething at all.

Breastfeeding 3 weeks on and getting very painful, is this normal?
Hi all, I've been bf for 3 weeks now but rather than getting easier it's getting more painful, going to see doctor tomorrow to ask if it could be thrush in breasts as I had a nasty thrush infection downstairs after birth, just wondering if anyone has any thoughts?

How can I stop 16 week old falling asleep when breastfeeding?
My DS has, for the last few weeks, only settled down to sleep at night if breastfed. He won't settle for my husband which means I have to do bedtime every night. I don't mind but it would be nice to share the job every once in a while. Do you think he'll grow out of it? He normally goes down about 10

Breastfeeding when out and about. How??
So I'm having real trouble with
breastfeeding
my 16day old. She struggles with attachment, feeds for hours then screams for more! But what I'm worried about is how I'm going to cope when I actually have to leave the house. So far I've only gone out between feeds or to my parents and fed her there.

Nursing bras/things to wear whilst breastfeeding?
Hello, I'm currently 35+4 weeks and I'm thinking about buying some nursing bras. I've heard some people say that it's better to wait till the milk comes through incase your breasts get a lot bigger? During my pregnancy my cup size hasn't changed at all - it hasn't changed since I was 15 lol so should
