Steroid budesonide warning
I went onto
beclazone
whit the other active ingredient in symbicort and it worked like a dream. Only go to symbicort/budesonide when you must. Please be carefully and know ALL the side effects. Pharmacy staff don't always know the whole facts.

Hi Everyone
He has been given salbutamol inhaler and
Beclazone
inhalers, using the former many times a day. He was admitted to A&E last night with progressive wheeze and cough and quite floppy. He was given a nebulizer and pred which took effect immediately and made him very hyper.

New to all this and finding it quite scary.
After an inital diagnosis of reflux we saw the paediatrician on Monday and left with
Beclazone
, Ventolin and an areochamber. My husband had asthma as a baby, into his teens and it has recently resurfaced again and his parents and brother also suffer.

Confused and worried
At present I am following the GPs advice of giving my son
Beclazone
100 x 2 puffs at bedtime and 2 puffs in the morning. Is this too much? Does anyone else administer this amount? He also has Salbutamol to take when a cold, cough or virus raises it's ugly head.

Two questions please - anyone know the answer to the Beclazone question?
His doctor has prescribed a nasal spray and a
Beclazone
100 inhaler. I note the indication for the
Beclazone
is asthma and it is a preventer. DAvid has not been prescribed a reliever. Is that usual? Secondly ( what a grotty family we are) my 15 month old grandson has been wheezy and chesty.

Salamol - shakes, heart racing
I take salamol and
beclazone
easi-breathe inhalers. Though in truth I know I probably dont take them as much as I should. But the main reason I hate taking them is because when I take the salamol I end up shaking loads and feeling like my heart is racing, makes me feel really horrible.

Ciclesonide v beclazone for singers
I've found that
Beclazone
has really affected my voice badly, and the adviceline nurse said try Ciclesonide as it only activates once it reaches the lungs and doesn't therefore coat the vocal chords with active steroids. Are there any singers out there who can give me some advice?

Can not diognosing asthma/treating it for a long time make it worse?
I requested on more than one occasion to visit the doctor, but my dad would always give me the same answer ""your just lazy, thats why you cant breathe"" In the space of two or three years, Ive progressed from one ventilin inhaler occasionally, to a ventalin, a 200mg
