Experiences with

Azilect

He has tremors on his left side and is on Requip, Azilect and a anti-tremor med (don't remember name). We exercise regularly but am just wondering if we should be working with someone now to help prevent progression? Any suggestions and/or info is appreciated

I was diagnosed with PD 02/2011 and started on Azilect and a couple of PRN meds. Since I have been taking the Azilect, I have not had an asthma attack and my allergies are not so bothersome. Has anyone else had allergies/asthma that is better on the PD meds?

The doctor put him on Azilect. He hasn't really noticed a change in his tremors. Now whenever he carries anything he gets terrible back spasms. He has also noticed a weakness in his hand, neither of these things were there before starting Azilect.

I think it is like Azilect. Any comments or observations? Thanks

Dr. thought that was nuts but because of my concerns took me off and put me on Azilect. I'm not sure if Azilect was the cause but I was dizzy all the time. I felt bad ALL the TIME. I'm wondering if I need to be on something like one of those. Do they really benefit you?

I could not continue to work and was able to retire on disabilty My neurologist, whom I trust, prescribed generic Sinemet (25 mg carbidopa and levadopa 100 mg) 3x daily, plus Pramipexole, which was soon replaced by Azilect 1 mg once daily.

I take Requip XL 4 times a day plus Azilect and I am not showing any steady reaction. I know PD is a progressive disease but Good Lord, I am getting worse everyday. I called my Dr. and he referred me to a Dr. @ the OU Medical center but like all good things I can't get in till Aug.

The Stalevo, and to a lesser extent Azilect, have to this point successfully managed my symptoms so well that I have returned to running. I have worked my way back to 2 miles a day with my sights set on a 5K next month and a 10K after that.

My current list of meds includes: * Stalevo (100mg 4x/day) * Mirapex (0.75mg 4x/day) * Azilect (1mg 1x/day) * Parcopa (50mg 2x/day, as needed) I am participating in the second CERE-120 clinical trial. I had brain surgery in March 2010 as part of this trial.

I am taking Azilect and Meripex. I am starting to realize this is real, the gut punch is fading. I still sometimes wonder why, I am trying to eat better, exercise more, etc etc..I read alot fo internet sites. I hate the meds...

I've had a horrendous weekend and I was pinning my hopes, long term, on taking citolapram but this morning the PD nurse rang to say they'd changed thier mind and I can't take it as I take Azilect (rasagaline).

I've had PD 9 years- well controlled with madopar, azilect, entacapone.
