Help and advice please.
Over the past 2 years I have had
Afatinib
, immunotherapy, chemotherapy and a trial drug which had a code type name. Happy to pass on names of drugs if anyone wants them.

A large injection of hope required. Please.
I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in early 2020 and was given the targeted therapy
Afatinib
. This was initially most effective but gradually stopped working and so the cancer spread further in the lungs.

Senolytic Regimens for Treatment-Emergent Senscent Cells
Previously, I posted on the topic of cellular senescence, "zomby-like" cells that cannot divide but also do not die. They can become SASP cells, Senscent-Associated Secretory Phenotypes, that can promote the growth and progression of processes in other cells, including PC cells by secreting pro-inflammatory

Dasatinib
I was interested to see in the latest from the Mayo: "
Antidiabetic Effects of the Senolytic Agent Dasatinib
" [1] Many men with PCa are pre-diabetic at diagnosis, with some of the symptons of the metabolic syndrome [MetS]. Pre-diabetics do not necessarily progress to diabetes, but androgen deprivation

Senolytic combo Dasatinib + Quercetin
Nalakrats has in two major posts shared fascinating insights on senescence and senolytics, drugs that selectively clear senescent cells. I am most grateful to him for this, which set me off on a journey the results of which I sum up in this post. Senescence has also recently been well reported on by

Started taking Exjade for iron overload from transfusions
Did this for 3 reasons. I am one of a handful of around 20 people taking both drugs with rux maybe one of 10 taking it with with a trial drug as well. Why do I do it? Other patients took the gamble to try rux and imatinib and lost their gamble so I feel I owe my opportunity to them. Pure research. This

has anyone been on exjade
You can all see my post from 2 or so weeks ago. I knew shortly after my iron levels were elevated due to transfusions. Ferritin is also an inflammatory marker but my total iron combining capacity has also been rising steadily ( TIBC). I cannot reduce my transfusion dependency as I have gone down to 52

Killing Dormant PCA Cells--->Senolytic Adaptations [Intro Part 1]
This is a follow up to my quest to prevent BCR's and to maim/inactivate sleeping cancer cells, for those men who reach PSA Undetectability with clean scans. There is an underlying theme thru some of my posts that says--->when the treatments stop, it is time to treat. Yes some men continue to treat with
