Reading all the questions and blogs here, combined with my own self-observations, I'm embarking on a new route to try and get rid of this debilitating anxiety. As mentioned elsewhere, alcohol can be a contributory, if not causal, factor. So, I’m cutting all alcohol out. At the age now of 51, maybe

Out with the old; in with the new, part 2.
The beautiful new black Brooks
Adrenaline
GT11s (I wanted black so they wouldn't look so grubby after a week's runs) fit well.

5K PB...if I can, you can.
Hi everyone, It's been a stressful few days here in this Cornish household and I needed to burn off some fight or flight
adrenaline
...I went out tonight just needing to run/burn/get it out of my system. So, here's the thing, when you're wound up, you should just aim for that PB time!

Ooh, my first post as a graduate!
Ok so I did it 45 seconds slower than my graduation run, but I'm not sure I had the same level of
adrenaline
this time. I am most pleased at the fact my splits were reducing and the fact I was able, for the first time, to finish with a proper sprint.

It got dark quickly I got spooked so wasn't going to stop running was I!
Hehe one way to make me run. It was so hot I didn't go until after 9 pm. I went a route I use regularly and it is mostly open paths but there is a part that is quite wooded. Just as I got to the wooded part a man came round the corner and he was in dark clothing and made me jump, I had just started

Amazing what adrenalin does
Last Friday I was doing my week 4 run 3 run. Got a call from the wife at the furthest point of the route from my car.She had been stung by a hornet and has reacted badly in the past to the little blighter's. End up doing a 12 minute mercy dash back to the car without stopping! Wife is OK now and I'm

If I had started C25k in warm weather like this . . .
The
adrenaline
nearly made me sick! But I made myself calm down and carry on and ran back (past the flippin car again!), pausing only cos my path was blocked by the lonely dog walking 76 year old lady, bless her (I was very grateful for an excuse to take a breather by then!).

My Life Story: Part 4 - aged 30 (Updated October 2010)
Update October 2010: Every so often I read my story and look back on the last period with the intention of updating my story. Sometimes I feel that the latest section of my life is not worth sharing because I have not had an eventful time, but then I think it’s good for people to know that there

Dentists local anaesthetics with adrenalin
I went to the dentist today to have some fillings which needed numbing. After the injections were given I suffered chest pains, palpitations and started shaking badly. I am not afraid of having treatment done so that is not the reason. The dentist put it down to the adrenalin in the anaesthetic as it

epinephrine pens for asthma
Does anyone know if it is possible to give a child
adrenaline
via epipen during a severe asthma attack that could be given if needed before ambulance/A&E. I know how fatal asthma can be in children/babies and just having one of the these would certainly put my mind more at rest.

Another question for EmilyH
The kids are scheduled for
Adrenaline
Challenge Tests in Calgary. What can you tell me about this test. Is it risky? The doctors have said that it is necessary because the risk of Long QT Syndrome is so great.

I know many here carry ""pens"" and I have been given
adrenaline
a couple of times during splatts I swear it does nothing for me. A while ago I was asked by a gasman if I had
adrenaline
nebs ever, I have never had them and as
adrenaline
does nothing for me it was deemed pointless.
