Has anybody fond Formoterol Oxis etc to be better with less reflux or indigestion?
I'm trying to find a reliever that is less of a problem for reflux and wondered how if anyone has has found formoterol to be better? I have tried the combination Seretide, Ventolin and Serevent and they all give me really bad reflux. I'm on a PPI etc but it only makes it just about bearable.

Your Meds (Strong Recommendation)
Hi I have a 'strong' recommendation for you, but first an explanation. In addition to reading the Patient Information Leaflet, I've now taken to checking the Drugs.com Website for each Med I'm prescribed. As you may know, Drug Interactions, Incorrect Drug Doses, Patient Drug Errors, Wrongly Prescribed

Fostair NEXThaler
I've been railroaded into having Fostair NEXThaler by the Asthma nurse at my surgery , I've been on Clenin Modulute 250 mcg , salbutamol and salmetarol , 2 puff of each twice a day, for over 30 years ( back then it was Becotide and Ventolin ) and my asthma has been in control . I've just read through

Symbicort 100/6 versus AssiemEMite 80/4.5
Are these equivalent? I opened my new medication this morning and found when I peeled a multitude of labels of the packet this Italian job! A little further investigation with google, I found an Italian page similar to UK MIM's. Where with google translation it says:- AssiemEMite 80/4.5 "Each delivered

The drugs
For some time my COPD had been getting much worse. I had sudden episodes where I was totally helpless and was gasping desperately for a breath of air. This could happen up to 5 or 6 times a day. Eventually, after an emergency call for an ambulance, I was admitted to hospital and spent a week there during

I do not get much relief from using the blue ventolin inhaler. Is there any alternative? I also have aclidinium bromide which is good but not for frequent use - only twice daily. Have also not got clear of chest infection - on doxycycline and steroids again for 4th time. Any comments? jks

Inhalers like Ventolin?
Hi all, I hope you can help as usual, I have tried 3 powder inhalers all have side effects which make me ill. Spiriva, Aclidinium and Bricanyl. The only inhaler I can use is Ventolin. Is there anything of a similar but stronger version on the market. May thanks Steve

Exacerbation of asthma
My asthma has been really controlled to the point of only needing a salbutamol inhaler from the age of about 8 till 2 months ago. I ended up having to ring 999 and having back to back nebulisers. I've been started on an inhaler with budesonide formoterol and fumarayr dihydrate. I'm still having symptoms

Anxious
GP has given me Duaklir Genuair inhalation powder
Aclidinium

Formoterol
Fumarate dihydrate which is a long acting bronchodilator! I have not taken it yet as so many awful side affects I am really scared to take it. Has anyone heard of this drug or similar?

Mild asthma? No asthma?
I wonder if other people recognise this: - occasional flare-ups of probably fairly mild breathing problems; often no problems at all when just sitting and fairly out of breath when walking. - flare-up lasts about 3-6 weeks with fits of breathlessness mainly happening at night, rarely at day unless the
