I want to know whether stem cell therapy can be done for progressive muscular atrophy in case of a boy who is 12 year old . What I mean is whether he can be operated through implantation of the cells of donor umbilical card so that new cells get regenerated and help the boy to use his limbs freely and attend to all his functions with out any one's help .Any help and info in this regard is appreciated .
