I'm just packing for the long journey to London to see the amazing professor D'Cruz and st Thomas.
I've been in a horrendous flare for the last 3 months and steroids have stopped working, I know I'm going to be pulled around and poked and prodded but I really can't wait to see the miracle man (aka prof D'Cruz).
If anyone can think of any tips for me to make the most of my appointment please feel free to share.

Due to me having an awful memory and the fact the appointments are few and far between, I always take a list to appointments with me of things - symptoms/problems etc that might be lupus related. Even things that you might perceive as 'silly' or 'minor' may be information that is useful to Professor D'Cruz. So my advice is write things down that you want to mention to him :o)
