I have hypermobility spectrum disorder and Posts. I have always had problems with left shoulder. However, now my arm has become painful with a burning sensation. Dr has prescribed naproxen but after taking it for a week there is no improvement. Just wondered if anyone else has suffered similar symptoms and what helped you? Thanks in advance for support and suggestions xx

Hi! Hope your pain is decrease, did you try some massage or cold pack on the shoulder? I know it’s a simple tip but maybe if you desensitize the painful area with something cold like lentils in a bag a or a fresh cloth you can get a great relief. A big hug

Thank you for your response, thankfully my arm pain has improved significantly. Physio encouraged heat rather than ice so I didn't try ice but I will keep it in mind. GP felt it may have been triggered by flu vaccination but I think I will never know what caused the flare or if it was just one of those things. Thanks for the hug xx
