PoTs / vasovagal syncope causing extreme fatigue and concentration issues.

I was diagnosed with PoTs almost two years ago, I was 21 at the time, after fainting regularly and suffering with chest pains, dizziness, shortness of breath, concentration issues, fatigue and palpitations. I am aware that I suffer from low blood pressure and elevated heart rate, both of which me and my specialists are perfecting medications to deal with.

Over the last 12 months I have noticed an increase in my episodes and although by this point I can feel them coming and avoid losing conciousness, they are effecting my day to day life considerably. I have also noticed that along with this I have been struggling badly with fatigue, regardless of how much I sleep I’m lethargic and tired to the point my joints ache and sometimes I’m extremely sensitive to pain (I’m guessing it’s because of the fatigue since it only happens when I’m extremely run down and lethargic). In addition to this my concentration issues have become a serious issue almost constantly, I suffer from brain fog but this usually only affects me in small episodes and these are not more than a few times a week however it has gotten to be so severe I have had to drop classes at university to avoid having to take exams since I can’t concentrate or retain information as well as I should be able to.

I was wondering if anyone else has had these symptoms and know what could be causing it. I’m aware that pots isn’t a common diagnosis and I haven’t managed to find anyone who is knowledgable enough to give me concrete advice. Does anyone have suggestions for what could help? I’m a little desperate.

Thankyou in advance
