Fainting

I fainted last night I have never ever fainted before, the worst feeling ever, luckily I was sat up and I woke back up leaning on the wall, but today I still feel dizzy and a little light headed, not sure what time it was but it was early hours, does anyone have the same feeling, also feeling really tired today too?

It's usual to feel totally washed out and ridiculously tired after you faint and for me it tends to be a couple of days before that feeling passes. It's not so common to faint from sitting, for most people it's a postural thing and you say it was in the early hours too so I'm guessing there's other stuff going on for you to be awake then. If it happens again, or the feeling of dizziness persists I would suggest you go and get checked out, they'll initially check your blood pressure, heart rate and for any general infection.
