Here's a wonderful source of inspiration, the story of Jessica who switched to a healthy diet and walking everyday - in her home. Now a Fitbit user, she walks 3000 steps first thing in the morning and stays active all day. She says she was once addicted to both food and alcohol but now has the healthiest refrigerator in her building!

Jessica is an amazing woman and such an inspiration! Im so glad I got to watch this video and hear her story. I sometimes get discouraged riding my ex bike day after day, wishing I could walk miles and miles but cannot( yet) Jessica has given me a needed attitude check. I hope she knows how special she is💜

I can't access the video but can see the benefits of exercising at home. I have Fibromylagia but find the fatigue part of it far worse than the pain. I force myself to walk daily , sometimes a couple of miles, other days I'll not even manage a quarter of that.

Hi Hollyberry it sounds like you are working really hard to overcome fatigue and stay active. What else do you find gives you energy and motivation?

The recent survey we did indicated that figuring out how to exercise at home is really important to community members, and so the example Jessica makes is really great isn't it? We will find more stories like this :-)

This morning I walked almost 2 miles with my dogs. Drove home and then had to go to the supermarket. Now home and costochondritis has kicked in. All my energy is going into just breathing at the moment. I'm hoping that some cocodamol, heat and an hour's rest will get me on my feet again.

If I had the space at home I'd have a treadmill.
