Are ulcers a result of Raynaud's, scleroderma or both? Am I destined to get them from Raynaud's?

Yes, but you can help by keeping warm particularly in your body but also in your extremeties; see a rheumatologist, get medication and treatment.

All the best.

You probably will unless you keep the blood flowing. However (touch wood) I have not had as many recently as I had in the early days of being diagnosed with Scleroderma, simply because I have become better at looking after myself.

I have had scleroderma and raynauds for 3 yrs now but no ulcers. I know that i may get them at some stage, but i try to take everyday as it comes and try not to dwell on it. Try to keep yourself as healthy as possible with a heathy diet and exercise with no smoking. Always keep warm with plenty of layers. I find sheepskin gloves the best for me even in the summer. keep well, Nuala
