My advice to you would be to put this question out of your mind completely and concentrate on the positive and ask "I'm determined to live my life not my illness - what can I do to improve my condition". Live your life one week to the next and don't scan the internet reading every bad piece of news you can lay your eyes on as there are no two scleroderma sufferers alike! Trust me, I'm speaking from experience... been there, done that and bought the t-shirt.
