Hello

Just wondering what is a ‘normal’ range for ALT bloods? My rheumatologist would like repeat bloods done as mine has come back 77 (10-40).

What does this mean?

Many thanks

Hayley

Hi Hayley, The 77 is your ALT level and the bracketed bit (10-40) is the normal range.

Hopefully when they are repeated then things may have reduced. It usually indicates disease activity or may be the result of medications that you are on.

Hope that helps
