Tips please for dry, hard fingernail cuticles. A few have got thick with those brown flecks on. Ordinary creams don't help. Much thanks.

I use a Sally Hansen cuticle pen. About £3 bright pink you can't miss it. I actually bought my first one, because of hard skin on other parts of my hands and arms. It's not really a pen, more a propelling brush. Obviously great for cuticles. But because I've had ulcers, if I see hard skin starting to appear on my knuckles etc. I brush it with this for a couple of days and then the hard skin lifts off, without causing any damage or tears.

Thank you Swiglee, will pop out tomorrow and buy one and try it also on the sides of my fingers. Dordle

The beauty is that it doesn't need rubbing in. I wouldn't use anything else. Xx

You do feel a bit self conscious about unsightly nails, especially protruding from nice bright fingerless gloves, lol!

Lol! For me it is so nice to be able to clip my nails again. As my fingers are uncurling. I used to have to rip them off with my teeth, as they 'grew' into the palms of my hands.
