Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is the most common form of skin cancer and the most frequently occurring form of all cancers.

While BCC is rarely life-threatening and rarely spreads beyond the original tumor site, if allowed to grow, they can become disfiguring and dangerous. Untreated BCCs can become locally invasive - growing wide and deep into the skin, destroying skin, tissue and bone.

The sooner BCC is diagnosed and treated the better, so if in doubt - get it checked out!
