as soon as my finger nails look reasonable they are so brittle they break, is this part of the drying effect of SS? Any suggestions? Thanks.

mine chip - I am content if they all reach the same length - they do not make it past the finger tip ever - and my nail beds are large compared to most people's. The corners of my fingers - right at the top corners of the nail beds - used to split and crack in the Winter months - I wore white Cotton gloves after I put lotion on really heavy for overnight OUCH !!! The good thing about SS is that I never had pimples or acne - LOL - gotta laugh sometimes ? LOL

thanks djeusa I wear cotton socks after first slathering my feet with heavy duty dry skin cream. I guess I should be doing my hands also! I At the moment my lips are peeling and feel like they are burning all the time. They have not given me any joy for over 6 months. I have tried every thing, it is really getting me down. Sucking on ice does give me a few minutes peace!

Take Zinc tablets, vitamin A and 6 fish oil caps a day and see how you go.
