Hi all, does anyone with sickle cell anaemia have complications with organ damage due to sickle cell?
I was diagnosed with kidney failure due to sickle cell complications. They tried saving my kidney with medications and diet but it eventually failed.
I had to go in dialysis and I’ve been on Automated Peritoneal Dialysis for 5 months now and in the waiting list for a kidney donor.
it’s been tough!!! Can anyone relate?
