I lived in Columbus georgia and as for a doctor it is the worst place for having our illness. The ERs are very judgemental and you will literally watch a person with joint pain with no other medical insures and you are in crisis sickle they will give that room to the other patient and for know other reason is because your a sickle cell patient. They love to tell you they went to a different side of the hospital so not true. I waited six hours with a accute chest syndrome but one of the ERS doctors wife's went directly to a room. This place is horrible for sickle cell patients but if you can't travel back and fourth a Dr named Anthony Olyfintuyi office is on Warm Spring Dr. Long office time but he's worth it but as far as looking for a sickle cell doctor only at a doctor.
