It s good that you are being proactive. I would try to get the gynecologist appointment earlier. This is how my Fallopian tube cancer started, with postmenpausal bleeding. Nothing showed up on the ultrasound nor did anything show up on a hysterosonogram. I had a history of fibroids so it blocked a clear view of my ovaries. Ask to have a CA125 blood test. If elevated, make an appointment with a gynecological oncologist. This is key especially if you have surgery. This all happened to me six years ago and after debulking surgery and chemo, I have been free of cancer.
I had this and it was a polyp in my uterus which they removed in day surgery polyps are rarely cancerous and glad to say mine wasn’t hope the same for you xx
