I am still feeling very well travelling around Nz on my last week and savouring every moment that I can… my hubby Rick and I are travelling with our best friends and visiting another couple at their cottage at Waihi Beach NZ. Now that the sun is out we plan our days around walks or a cycle and then have a swim… some relaxing in the sweet cottage bedroom with old fashion windows is great for a lie down.. and then we make a healthy dinner for our hosts… and tomorrow night will take them out to a beach cafe to thank them for their hospitality. So many laughs! I will post a pic of their cottage ( called a bach in Nz slang) and some fun pics.

Trip to New Zealand Update
Siem pics of the sweet bach ( summer cottage)3 that our friends are sharing with us. We met hiking the Milford Track in Nz years ago. Now we call ourselves the International Hiking Club… although the Celia’s makes my feet hurt and nearly blister… so my friends walked 9 miles today… while hubby and I used their w- bikes so we could all have a swim.
cape/ Xeloda keeps me from participating on long hikes with the gang . an E-bike is a great equaliser for me and I keep up. This is us exploring Hauraki Rail Trail after coming out of a Kilometreling tunnel.
Great to see the sun shining and that your last week in NZ will be such a happy time!! ☀️ 💗
sorry for the typos… meant capecitabine makes feet blister and e bikes not w- bikes
I think you are very inspiring and grab life with both hands. I am a New Zealander and appreciate your great reviews of this country. Wishing you well for your journey home. It seems to me we need to find our happy place and enjoy whatever it is and do it while you can. Best wishes.

I am so glad you are doing well and having a great time! You surely deserve this wonderful trip. What a cute summer cottage!
Thank you for sharing this beautiful place and your inspiring story. Keep doing it your way! Love to see it 💕
thanks for sharing your adventure with us. I’m quite content in my own corner of the world and I don’t have a travel bug, but I love to hear about other people with MBC living their best life, whatever that may be. It’s inspiring 💕
Safe travels. Cheers!
Kim
Looks like you are having an amazing holiday 💕
It's great that you can travel around New Zealand! I am a tad envious! Great photos! Enjoy the rest of your time there! Sending cyberhugs....
Wonderful news from NZ. Keep enjoying.
You look wonderful. Enjoy the rest of your trip. Glad to see the sun! I'm sure you are too!
I’m so happy for you keep having a wonderful trip! You are courageous to go and inspiring to me
Good for you! So happy to hear you are having a great time and making those special memories!
Sister/Thriver 😇 You are living your best life. How cute is that cottage you , and your loved one's stayed in. I believe GOD has placed good friends/loved ones in your path who also enjoy living their best lives😀.
I’m just catching up on here. My longing to be in NZ is palpable. I am on iv chemo now (Paclitaxel - 3 weeks on and 1 week off) so U.K. based for the time being. I need a project so have put our home up for sale and hope to move to the south coast to be by the sea. It has been busy for me which takes my mind off MBC. Not quite the same as being in NZ but I’m being distracted and also future proofing for my husband.
I hope you are now basking in post-holiday euphoria and not spending too much time back in hospitals.
I love a good house buying or other new chapter adventure and hope it goes well for you. Home… my health held up but father in law had a stroke while we were away. Oh dear!
