Hello everyone

I diagnosed MBC since 2018......first I was on palbace +faslodax for one year.....then disease show progression.....then on capcitabin .....plz share anyone who is on capcitabin.....results........what ll be next line of treatment if it fails

Hi amitgarg27 -

I'm sorry, but I don't have any experience with that treatment and no knowledge, aside from just googling it...

But I can tell you that a few months ago I asked my doc to lay out the next few treatments...I found this very helpful and comforting. I could look them up and understand what lay ahead, which was comforting to me. Maybe you'd consider the same?

I do hope someone with more knowledge responds...In the meantime (and even after!), please know that I'm sending my best wishes...

I have had that scenario so starting Taxol next , we have always a new way to slow the progression x

I was on it for five months along w Keytruda. It worked somewhat, but I switched to a platinum chemo, Carboplatinum, after due to new fluid in the lungs. Carbo is more for ovarian cancer and BRCA2. Taxol is next. My Onc doe not like mr looking forward to the next drug. Its hard because most have not worked for me, including ibrance

Xeloda will be my next after everolimus. After xeloda, my oncologist has suggested a trial for a CDK2 inhibitor. There has also been mention of a PARP inhibitor or an oral SERD, if I can find a trial. Good luck with whatever lies ahead!
