Hello daf10, hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a happier New Year. Does anyone out there have the same diagnosis or close. Just wondering how your doing and where you are in your treatments. STAGE 3A lobular breast cancer. At home recovering from a mastectomy. Will see about chemo and radiation at the first of the year.
Thanks, and you as well.😃
Hi Maryeg, I had stage 2 lobular breast cancer and a bilateral mastectomy. Ten years later, it's all just a mammary--I mean memory. I'm doing fine. Because mine was her2+ (which is unusual for a lobular cancer) and it was in a lymph node, I had chemo and Herceptin, plus radiation. It seemed like an awful lot of treatment for something the size of a pimple. On the bright side, though, I'm here and healthy--and no longer have any curiosity about what chemo is like! Hoping your recovery is quick. Let us know what additional treatment you'll have.
Thanks for sharing😊
Hi, I was just diagnosed with stage 3 also.
