If you have been offered it by a healthcare professional I would take their recommendation.

Thanks for your reply and it’s been offered by public health Scotland

Yes, get them. I am in California and had a lump under my skin with the first Monkeypox Vaccine which was a full dose in July. The lump gradually became smaller until it was completely gone about four weeks later, but the second vaccine was a fraction of the manufacturer’s recommendation to make sure enough people at risk of exposure could get it. That one only left a very small red bump which mostly disappeared except for a slightly darker spot on my arm, definitely lighter than all my other natural spots though. I don’t remember any kind of reaction to the HepA and B vaccines.

the decision should be discussed between you and your doctor with the decision ultimately up to you.

here (across the pond), one is offered them when at a higher risk for those diseases (usually due to sex). personally, i refused these vaccines. that is my choice.

do not let healthcare providers bully you. make your decision and stick to it.
