I had to stop work 18 years ago and as I have continued to deteriorate since then, I will not be able to return to my career as a Speech and Language Therapist

Eventually got myself a move to an office nearer to home but living in a City ( London ) I found travel to the central offices difficult.

There is no facility to cater for travel outside the rush hour e.g. why start meetings at 10.00 that last 45 minutes or less?.

Found few managers prepared to have a staff member with health issues despite having an excellent work and reliability record.

Eventually took a redundancy package, got another job within 6 months and left again under a redundancy offer 5 years later with two promotion's under my belt.

This has hindered my health all of my life. I couldn't do the career I wanted or my 2nd choice or 3rd...so I did what I was able to do.
