If he has the time to listen to a specialist in RLS, and they are few and far between. Then he can read any info you take to show him, or even look on the internet himself.

GP's do little coverage of RLS, in med school. We had to educate ourselves on RLS, so dont know why doctors cant do the same, lots of doctors learn from us when they dont know all there is to know....

I was reffered straight away to a neurologist who i will be seeing in march !

Probably best your gp referres you to a neuro and or gets advice and information regarding rls from him

totally agree with E-bunny get your dr to reffere you to a neurologist you'll have a better chance saying that the first one i saw bout 5yrs ago i was in and out after the usual test all done within half hour never saw him again and yet one i saw before christmas first time i was in his office 2 and half hours answering questions and simple test then 3 weeks ago went for a MRI waiting to go see him again now in march so hopefully you get one that takes an interest seeing the first one i saw didn't ... again it's pot luck but defo worth a try ,,,

good luck with that :)

Prof. Chaudhuri is the one to see, but appointments are coveted and scarce. I don't believe you can do any better, in my experience he is practical, knowledegeable and caring.. After 21 yrs of being laughed at he was indeed my saviour!
